Hourglass

Hourglass is one of my favorite painting since it has the most powerful meaning. Not many people will understand what I’m trying to say or show with this art piece, which is why I would like to explain the meaning behind it. 

The hourglass represents the body of a woman as well as time. The shades of pink in the background indicate the amount of love the personal has for each part of their body: the darker it is, the more love they feel. The lighter parts symbolize the opposite.

What I wanted to show with this piece is that, like most things in life, loving your self fully takes time.
