ABOUT UNOOTHA

Founded in 2018, Unootha is an online magazine that works to center the creative work of Southwest Asian and North African women and other marginalized genders. From highlighting contemporary cultural phenomena, to honing a space for healing and safety—Unootha is a space that aims to welcome you in.

Our previous issues have explored themes of locations and spaces, our bodies and natural cycles, passions and resolutions. These represent but an iota of the stories our web pages hold.

At Unootha, we believe in creativity that challenges us to rethink, introspect, and grow. We’re a community of creatives, and we’re so happy to have you here.
